United drawn against Milan in the Champions league

The UEFA Champions League draw has pitted last season’s finalists Manchester United against Italian side AC Milan.

David Beckham will make his first return to Old Trafford since leaving for Real Madrid and should receive a good reception from the United fans.

United will feel they have unfinished business with Milan after their heartache in the semi final of 2007. After winning the home leg 3-2, United’s defence was decimated by injuries and they lost 3-0 in Italy, losing the tie 5-3 on aggregate.

United went on to win the Champions League in the following season, and were runners up to FC Barcelona last year.

The full draw is as follows.

AC Milan v MAN UTD

Porto v ARSENAL

Lyon v Real Madrid

CSKA Moscow v Sevilla

Bayern Munich v Fiorentina

Inter Milan v CHELSEA

Olympiakos v Bordeaux

Stuttgart v Barcelona
