United confirm deal for French midfielder
Manchester United have announced that they have agreed a deal with French club Le Havre over the transfer of midfielder Paul Pogba.
Le Havre reported Manchester United to FIFA last year for allegedly “tapping up” Pogba, saying: “The player [Pogba] and his parents refused to keep the arrangement because Manchester United offered very high sums of money to the parents of the [player] with the aim of obtaining the transfer of their son”.
United disputed the allegation and threatened to sue the club if the remarks were not withdrawn.
Now though, it appears that the clubs have managed to settle the matter amicably and Paul can get on with his promising career at Old Trafford.
A statement on the official Manchester United website said: “Le Havre AC and Manchester United FC are pleased to announce that following discussions between the two clubs, an agreement has been reached in relation to the registration of Paul Pogba with Manchester United in July 2009.”
‘The terms of the agreement will remain confidential.
“Paul is an exciting young talent who Manchester United hope can prove to be a great success at Old Trafford. Le Havre would like to wish the player well in his future career.”

As usual ‘Money Talks, and Ballshoot walks’.
Man United again behave in an inappropriate and underhand way, break rules and flaunt it at the authorities who are too weak or inept to do anything about it.
Man United and all your fans should hang your heads in shame…..
