In summary he's effective in low to mid range games but not quite good enough in the top end matches. True, when he was first getting games, he shot almost every time he got the ball, but he's become a lot more disciplined lately, scored some important goals, and he has a decent range of passing and a good work-rate and seems to be defensively good too. We have far better players coming through who I hope get there chance this season-Paul Pogba and Tom Cleverly now they are two players with a big future in front of them with much more to them than a good shot. If that's true then it's definitely time to move him on, but midfield is not an area where we're blessed with creative talent so maybe it's best to keep him as a squad player rather than a certain starter. I'm a big fan of Darron Gibson and would love to see him get more game time next season. He needs to work on his passing, but he's got arguably the best long shot in the squad. A goalscoring midfielder is what we've been crying out for for years and he could develop into our Lampard or our Gerrard.
