Rooney: I’m staying
Wayne Rooney has pledged his future to Manchester United after speculation linking him with a big money move to Spain this Summer.
United’s financial woes have prompted wildly speculative stories about the future of the England striker, but he has moved quickly to reassure United fans that he’s here to stay.
“There’s always speculation, and when other big teams are talking about you, it’s nice that you’re talked about,” Rooney told Manchester United’s official website. “But as I’ve said many times before, I’m a United player and I’m very happy here.”
“I hope we can win the title again this year. We’ve won the league the last three years and nobody has ever won it four times in a row. We want to create history.
“The title race is much tighter this year and it’s probably more exciting for the neutrals or fans around the country. But we’re hoping that now we are top we can go on and remain there for the rest of the season.”

Unfortunately it’s NOT Rooney’s decision whether he stays or goes, The Glazers will decide especially if Madrid or Barca put £100m on the table, they might HAVE TO accept considering utd NEED the money to cut the debt! Not looking pretty at all!
Yes, but I am sure they realize he is worth more in terms of merchandising if he stays, as terrible as that sounds.
