Player Ratings: Manchester United 3 – 0 Everton

VDS – 7 - Two great saves. Not much else to do though.
Rafael – 7 - Brilliant going forward in the first half. Solid defensively, bar one rugby tackle that earned him a yellow card.
Brown – 7 – First class tackle kept Saha out when we only had a 1-0 lead.
Vidic – 7 – Solid.

Evra – 8.5 – Immense performance. One of the main attacking threats and defensively sound.

Giggs – 6. – Poor performance overall, but set up Carrick for the second goal.
Fletcher – 8.5 – Great goal, great game, great player.
Carrick – 8 – Dominated midfield and broke up attacks.
Valencia – 9 – Baines had no chance against Valencia. Chipped in with another goal and generally ran riot on the right wing.

Owen – 7 – Drifted in and out but played well generally.
Rooney – 6.5 – Started well, but this will be a day to forget for Rooney.
