Hughes can’t wait for United clashes

Mark Hughes is relishing the opportunity to knock Manchester United out of the Carling Cup.

The Manchester City manager is confident his team is capable of beating all comers, including United, so can’t wait for the fixtures to come around.

“The whole of Manchester will be tuning in and we’re looking forward to some fantastic games,” Hughes said.

“We would have fancied ourselves against anyone in the draw, so bring them on.”
