Hargreaves back to face Milan
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is hoping to have long term absentee Owen Hargreaves back in his squad to face AC Milan later this month.
The midfielder has missed 16 months of football after undergoing double knee surgery to fix a recurring problem, and is alternating training with the reserves and the senior team.
“I would like to see him make the squad for the Champions League fixtures against AC Milan.”
“But we won’t rush him. We are being patient.”
“Owen is alternating his training with the reserve and first-team squads, working for two days and then resting a day.”
Ferguson admits Hargreaves’ mental state has a big part to play in his comeback, but is positive he’ll be back sooner rather than later.
“It’s a matter of him regaining his confidence and when he is able to train every day that will be the moment for him to return to match play.”

Really anxious to see how he comes back. Hargo is amazing, and a fit Hargo would be a huge boost to any squad.
