Fergie: The Wenger chants have got to stop

Sir Alex Ferguson has urged Manchester united fans to avoid the chants usually aimed at Arsene Wenger when the two teams meet.

The Arsenal manager was subjected to abusive chants when he came to Old Trafford in August, and Sir Alex is hoping to avoid a repeat of that incident at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

“Sometimes, I can’t make out these chants but I know there’s been some terrible abuse from our fans to Arsene Wenger and there must be a line drawn.

“And I think that they must know that themselves.”
