Fergie to miss Pompey and Spurs games

Sir Alex Ferguson will be in the dugout this weekend when Manchester United face Everton at Old Trafford.

It was previously thought he would miss the game due to the two match touchline ban he was given by an FA tribunal for comments made about Alan Wiley last month, but the FA have confirmed that the ban begins 14 days from the date of the tribunal.

Sir Alex will now miss the league game at Fratton Park against Portsmouth as well as the Carling Cup game at home to Tottenham Hotspur.
