Same old FA, same old inconsistency
In the first leg of our Carling Cup semi final with Manchester City, Patrice Evra was hit with a cigarette lighter, and was narrowly missed by several other flying objects raining down from the stands.
What did the FA do?
Nothing.
In the second leg, Craig Bellamy was hit with a coin and narrowly missed by several other objects thrown by fans.
What did the FA do?
The Guardian says that the FA will launch an inquiry and United could face sanctions.
Should be be surprised at the level of inconsistency from the FA?
Absolutely not. They have shown on numerous occasions how incompetent they are, and that the punishments are always more severe when Manchester United are involved. Why should we expect to be treated fairly this time?

It is ridiculous to single one out. It was disgraceful to see objects thrown at both players, but ludicrous that both incidents are not being looked into.
