Evra proud of amazing season

Patrice Evra is proud of his outstanding contribution towards Manchester United’s campaign, despite losing out on the title to rivals Chelsea.

The French left back played in every single league game for the reds this term and was one of their most consistently good performers.

The impressive defender revealed that the players and manager all congratulated him on his amazing season. And he also commented on his pride at lifting the Carling Cup as Manchester united captain in February.

“I was in good form and my team-mates, the gaffer and everyone have congratulated me for my season.

“It was not only about playing the games but performing for the 51 games. This is why I’m very proud of myself. I’m also proud to have lifted the only trophy we won this season, the Carling Cup, when I was captain,” United defender said.
