Evra praises Fergie’s drive

Patrice Evra has praised Sir Alex Ferguson for his determination and says his will rubs off on the players.

The United manager kept faith in Evra after a shaky first six months to his united career and has been rewarded for his faith. Evra has developed into one of the best left backs in the world and

“I’m not saying I am better but I really believe in my own qualities as a player,” said Evra.

“His (Ferguson’s) demand for success drives him on and pushes him to the limit. He makes you aware of your responsibilities regarding the team. He trusts me. That means a lot to me. I do what he tells me to do.

“The day when I can no longer work that hard, I know he will have no qualms at all of dropping me from the team.”

  1. Best manager in the history of English football. We're lucky to have had him at the helm for so long and it'll be a sad day when he retires.
