Craig Bellamy floored by United fan
Manchester City striker Craig Bellamy was reportedly assaulted by a Manchester United fan last weekend outside a bar in Cheshire.
The outspoken forward was allegedly struck from behind by the fan and fell to the floor holding his head, and the attacker was moved on by club doormen.
A witness told The Mirror: “He whacked him from behind and Craig fell to the floor. Bouncers jumped in straight away and the guy was carted off.”
Bellamy is no stranger to cowardly attacks. He assaulted a defenceless Manchester United fan while stewards held his arms behind his back during United’s 4-3 win over noisy neighbours City. And was hit by a coin during his team’s Carling Cup defeat to United.
Is karma coming back to haunt Craig? Or has his mouth finally got him into trouble?
