City fans disgrace themselves with Munich jibes

I’ve never quite understood the stupidity of most City fans. Every club has a small minority of supporters who will gladly mock the deaths of rival players and sing songs about Munich or Hillsborough, but when City fans do it there’s a high level of ignorance involved.

Eight Manchester United players died in the Munich disaster when their plane failed to take off. Also amongst the passengers who died that day was an ex Manchester City player – Frank Swift. When their fans show their lack of class by chanting ‘Munich’ at us, they’re also mocking the death of one of their own.

So you have to assume either a) They don’t know the history of their own club, or b) They do know the history, but they dont care.

I’m not quite sure which option is worse. City fans will of course claim that the Munich chants never happened, but if you go to youtube you’re sure to find many videos to the contrary. One thing they can’t deny, however, is that they were throwing inflatable airplanes around in the crowd, as seen here.

Money can buy you mercenaries, but it can’t buy you class!

  1. Why am I not surprised

  2. Equaly distastefull are man utd fans continual chants of paedophile to Arsene Wenger. quite disgusting, its about time your club took steps to ban the offending idiots

  3. They are distasteful Deejay, I agree, but certainly not as distasteful as mocking the dead.

  4. They are scum, mate. Frank Swift shouldn’t even come into it. Whether there was a City legend on the plane or not, you don’t mock the death of eight young men because they happened to play for a fucking rival football team.

Embarrassing comment by “deejay” as well. Two wrongs make a right, do they?

  5. utd fans sing about marc vivian foes death and hillsbrough sadly double standards i think so

  8. And you lot lot never sang “City’s going down like a Russian submarine”. Oh aren’t you all angels. At least it was comical watching you lot losing your way to the M6 when the cops let you out of the car park and finding yourselves in front of Mary Ds. Thank god the police dogs weren’t poisoned when they bit you.

Enjoy your sad lives because even if you win the league, you have stood still and if you factor in getting whacked by Bayern you have gone backwards. Oh and by the way you are skint £716000000, £72000000, £725000000 goes up fast than that sad sign in your site for the next Stretford Tesco Superstore

  9. @ pedmachine, you bitter piece of garbage. Even if UTD go down in debt, City will never, ever be as big as UTD. City will forever be known as the little brother. Not even sheik money can buy class nor the title. You don’t have it in you.

  10. Larry, Liverpool fans once said the same!
