City do us a favour by beating Chelsea

It’s not often I find myself using kind words about Manchester City and indeed carlos Tevez, but they’ve done us a massive favour today by taking three points from league leaders Chelsea.

The media have all but crowned Chelsea as Champions over the past week after they beat Arsenal 3-0 at the Emirates, but they’ve come crashing back to Earth today after losing 2-1 at Eastlands.

We’ve now moved to within two points of Chelsea at the top of the table and we have our bitter blue neighbours to thank for it.

  1. Didn’t see this result coming at all, and I don’t like the idea of it giving City abig confidence boost. They’ll point to it as a sign that they’re on the right track, but drawing their previous ten games makes the result a bit of an anomaly that proved nothing.

Still, Chelsea dropped points and we’re closer to the top. Every cloud…
